Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about upgrading your kitchen ventilation.
How do I choose the right CFM for my range hood?
As a general rule, for gas cooktops, you should have 100 CFM for every 10,000 BTUs of total burner output. For electric stoves, multiply the width of the stove by 10 to find the minimum CFM requirement.
What is the difference between ducted and ductless range hoods?
Ducted hoods vent smoke and odors to the outside of your home through a pipe, while ductless (recirculating) hoods use charcoal filters to clean the air and release it back into the kitchen.
How often should I clean or replace my filters?
Baffle filters should be cleaned every 1-2 months in the dishwasher. If you use charcoal filters for ductless operation, these cannot be cleaned and should be replaced every 4-6 months depending on usage.
What is your shipping policy for oversized items?
Most of our range hoods ship via freight carriers to ensure they arrive safely. We offer free standard shipping on all orders over a certain value within the continental United States and Canada.
What if my range hood arrives damaged?
Please inspect your package upon arrival. If you notice any damage, report it to our customer service team within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no additional cost to you.
Do Victory Range Hoods come with a warranty?
Yes, all our range hoods come with a limited manufacturer's warranty covering parts and motors. The specific duration varies by model, typically ranging from 1 to 5 years.
